KOBAU Strukturvlies is a development by KOBAU GmbH used to give plane substrates such as precast concrete garages, precast concrete ceilings, staircase soffits a spray plastered appearance involving low expenditure. Beyond this, KOBAU Strukturvlies is suitable for reinforcing painted surfaces in case of superficial plaster cracks of the A.1 crack type according to the classification in the BFS notice no. 19.
In addition, KOBAU Strukturvlies is best suitable as a base for the natural finish and sponge application techniques.
KOBAU Strukturvlies is normaly inflammable and complies with the B 2 fire class according to DIN 4102. KOBAU Strukturvlies has been officially tested for contaminants.

For use inside and outside.

Prepare the substrate to be reinforced according to the applicable local regulations.

Subsequently there should be a generous application of a suitable fibre glass adhesive, whether painted, rolled or sprayed. KOBAU Strukturvlies should be laid onto the still wet coating, either directly from the roll or as a cut section, aligned end-to-end, and then pressed down with a short-piled roller. The inside of the roll is then to be glued to the wall and shall always be processed in the same direction. Next – whilst still in a wet condition – the embedding material should be once again applied throughout the fleece interface area and then evenly rolled.
After drying the undercoat and the top coat are applied with pure acrylate paint or paste-like dispersion paint with a high binding agent.

Store in dry, cool and closed spaces

Perform subsequent work in compliance with the instructions of the manufacturer in each case.
Extreme roughness or coarse unevenness are to be eliminated using an appropriate levelling method prior to processing.
