Field of application / properties

KOBAU Glasgitter-Gewebe E 26 / 23 is intended for the reinforcement of mineral plasters according to DIN 18550 and polymer modified adhesives and reinforcing mortars in case of cracks passing through the plaster layers type A.2 according to the classification in the BFS notice no. 19. KOBAU Glasgitter-Gewebe E 26 / 23 is of the non-slip type, non-swelling, resistant to alkalis and chemicals as well as non-fouling.

For use inside and outside.

Processing

Prepare the surface to be reinforced according to the national regulations and/or BFS notices. Subsequently, apply embedding material, e.g. plaster according to DIN 18550 and/or the instructions of the manufacturer. Embed KOBAU Glasgitter-Gewebe E 26 / 23 from the roll or as a ready-cut in the wet coating avoiding wrinkle formation and bubbles. The webs should overlap in a width of at least 10 cm. Subsequently, apply another coat of embedding material uniformly so that the fabric is no longer visible.
Further work is to be performed observing the instructions of the manufacturer in each case.
