Field of application / properties

KOBAU Armiera® Anstrichvlies is intended for the reinforcement of paint systems in case of plaster surface cracks type A.1 according to the classification in the BFS notice no. 19. Due to the regular glass fibre structure, surfaces of high quality are also achieved in the field of dry construction and interior work. Thanks to the use of a special binder, KOBAU Armiera® Anstrichvlies is watertight, weatherproof, resistant to chemicals and non-fouling.

The reinforcing adhesive is unsuitable for processing Armiera Anstrichvlies.

For use inside and outside.
Processing

Prepare the substrate to be reinforced according to the national regulations and/or BFS notices. Subsequently, apply pasty dispersion paint with a high binder content until saturation using a roller or spray gun. Embed KOBAU Armiera® Anstrichvlies from the roll or as a ready-cut in the wet paint avoiding wrinkle formation or bubbles. Glue the outside of the roll towards the wall and always apply in the same direction. The webs should overlap in a width of approx. 5 cm. Separate with a double cut and remove both lateral strips. Join the light fleece KOBAU Armiera® Anstrichvlies seamless with a butt joint. Press the butt area against the substrate so that it is level. Subsequently, uniformly apply another coat of embedding material.
Subsequent work is to be performed observing the instructions of the manufacturer in each case.
